Naturparks und Volcanos
Day 1: Arrival
at the airport of Costa Rica, Transfer
to the Hotel not far from
the airport. Alajuela
Day 2: At 8.30 a.m.
delivering of your rental car.
You can go to the near Volcano
Poas and to the waterfall La Paz. When the weather is cloudy you can
make a trip to the butterfly farm near to La Guacima.

Day 3: National park
Rincon de la Vieja.
You will stay for 2 nights at a Hacienda.
Day 4: In Rincon de la Vieja
you can do a lot. Horsbackriding, a canopy, you can make
beautiful walks through the volcanic active area. We
recommand a vist to the park.
Day 5: Along the
lake Arenal you will go to the
region of the
Arenal volcano. La Fortuna, We recommand a walk over the old
lavafields. ( US$ 10.-- per Person for the Arenal National park).
Not only you will enjoy, with clear wheather, a great view on the
amazing Arenal but you will also have a beautiful view over the lake
Arenal. Also you can visit the waterfall of La Fortuna or visit one
of the hotsprings.
Day 6/7: La
Fortuna
Day 8: By San
Miguel you are driving to
Puerto Viejo de
Sarapiqui on the river with the same name. Night near to Puerto Viejo
de Sarapiqui.
Day 9: You can make a
tour by boat. The rich waterworld of the Rio Sarapiqui gives a lot
of animals to be seen. Krokodils, iguanas, frogs, monkeys and a
lot of different waterbirds. You can also go to La Selva, this is a
biological reserve.
Day 10/11/12 To
the Caribean sea. You will stay here for three nights in
Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
were you can relax on one of the beautifull beaches. There is an Caribean
Sphere.
Day 13:
Trip to the valley of
Orosi.
From the hotel you have a beautiful view
over the vally.

Day 14: You can visit the
volcano Irazú, with a landscape like the moon. It is with 3432m the
highest volcano in Costa Ricas.
With clear weather you can see both oceans. Orosi
Day 15:
Back to Alajuela. On
the way you can visit in Cartago the Basilica de Nuestra Señora, the
most famous church in the country.

Day 16: Transfer to the
international airport.

National parks with Tortuguero
Day
1: Arrival
at the airport of Costa Rica, Transfer
to the Hotel in the centre of San José
Day 2:
You can explore the city. The National Theatre, the gold museum and
a lot more. San Jose.
Day 3:
Nationalpark
Tortuguero.
Early in the morning pickup at the hotel. You will go with an
international group through the Braulio Carillo Nationalpark to the
Atlantic.
On the way there is a breakfaststop.
You will drive through plantations with bananas and pineapples. In
Caño Blanco you will continue your trip by boat. By rivers and
canals you will arrive in Tortuguero.
In the afternoon you have a guided walk to the
village and you can explore the sight with a butterfly and a
froggarden.
Day 4:
In the morning you have an excursion by boat and a walk in the
jungle. In the afternoon you have a boattrip through the canals and
the creeks of the national Park. During the months of July until
October you can observe seaturtles (price of this optional
excursion US $ 30 p.p.) .
Day 5:
After
breakfast you will go back by boat and bus to Guapiles for lunch.
The rental car will be deliverd at the restaurant.
You have a short drive to
Sarapiqui.
Day 6:
Arenal.
By Aguas Zarcas you go to the village of La Fortuna near the Volcano Arenal.We recommand a walk over the old
lavafields. ( US$ 10.-- per Person for the Arenal National park).
Not only you will enjoy, with clear wheather, a great view on the
amazing Arenal but you will also have a beautiful view over the lake
Arenal. Also you can visit the waterfall of La Fortuna or visit one
of the hotsprings

Stay in La Fortuna.

Today you will go to
Manuel Antonio on the coast of the Pacific .

You can visit the National park with its monkeys,

Playa Tortuga.
Day 11/12 Playa Tortuga.
You
can visit the Island Caño or the National Park Corcovado. Tou can
visit the indians in Boruca or see beautiful waterfalls. There are
some small beaches near the hotel.
Day 13:
Trip to the centre of the countru, high in the moutains San Gerardo
de Dota.

With a guide you can
have a walk looking for the Quetzal.

Back to Alajuela.

Day16: Transfer
to the airport.
